Trail Designs

A short post this one. Heat-felt thanks to Rand and Russ at Trail Designs. I ordered the 600ml Evernew Ultralight and corresponding Ti-Tri Sidewinder with inferno this weekend. I sent a speculative email to see whether it would be with me before I hit the hills next week. They answered that it would be unlikely unless I wanted to pay for Priority Mail. On balance, I chose not to and simply risked it. Their email communication was helpful, immediate and convivial. Without telling me, they chose to send it Priority Mail anyway, at their own expense, and I received it today - 3 working days after they sent it.

Not much more to say to that, is there?

  2.  It's always great working with smaller manufacturer's and websites to get that extra bit of personal customer service!

  3. Frankly it was such good service and such a pleasure to deal with them I felt others should know about it. Not all small manufacturers are that good!

  4. Some get a little big for their boots sometimes and forget who bought all their untested products in the first place but in general I enjoy supporting the likes of Trail Designs and Fuizion Food for precisely that reason.

  5. I would love to hear how you get on with it as I ordered one 7 days ago and it has not arrived yet.

  6. I'll give it a small test using alcohol and using wood-burning inferno to see how it performs. I am sure yours will arrive soon if mine, and others', experiences are anything to go by.
